Pet care experience
I have loved dogs since before I can remember, and have been working with animals since I was a child. I find working with animals to be very fulflilling and have a natural aptitude for enteracting with both wild and tame animals. I plan to go back to school for a veteranary techition degree to be able to better help disadvantaged animals and work in animal rehablilitation. I have volunteered walking dogs at a shelter for 6 months and with wildlife for 8. I have walked dogs and pet sat as my primary source of income in the past. I have been taught basic training techniques for dogs by a professional dog trainer. I am very comfortable with dogs and would love to help care for yours!

I cannot say enough great things about Ella's recent Rover stay at my house. She responded in a time of great need, agreeing to a 6-day in-home sitting job with less than 24 hours' notice, when we had a family emergency on the east coast. She put my mind at ease right away, with detailed reports and daily photos of cat naps and dog walks. We came home to a house cleaner than the one we left (spotless kitchen! laundered towels!), and to two happy, relaxed pets. I do believe that she even accomplished a bit of training while she was there. Molly sat nicely to have her harness attached this morning - definitely a first. We hope to have Ella as a regular sitter from now on, and I highly recommend her services to others. Thank you, Ella!
Ella is naturally gifted with animals. She has a warm confidence with dogs and effortlessly provides loving leadership. She has a special talent for reading dogs' body language and behaviors. This helps her to both meet the dog's needs and to predict outcomes and respond flexibly and accurately in tricky situations. She is responsible, energetic, and hardy. I highly recommend her as both a dig walker & a dog sitter.

Although I don't have a fenced yard at my house, there is a park across the street with a nice grassy area. The neighborhood is mostly families, so it is a nice area to walk dogs.

This will vary depending on the animal, and their individual needs. I am happy to walk energetic dogs at a brisk pace, play games, and take them on local hikes. For an older pup, I will take it slow, and give them all the love and snuggles that they want!
