I’ve taken 4 weeks of puppy training courses. Fostered and lived with a total of 11 different cats with varying needs. So committed to loving animals that I’m a vegetarian!

My dog Maisie is a really sensitive 3 year old border collie. Whenever Ella comes to visit and watch her for me, Maisie has an amazing time. Maisie has a very specific diet and Ella is always courteous and meticulous in sticking to this diet. Maisie is also a fairly reactive dog and I’m nervous to let just anyone walk her, but I’ve always been impressed with how Ella handles her. It’s such a weight off my mind to know Ella can look out for Maisie for me.

I adhere to strict routines and diets according to each pet’s specific needs. I know that pets require a lot of love and attention, so I go beyond the minimum by providing that social component of care as well. It’s so important for a pet’s environment to be 100% nurturing and safe.

I am open to learning how to best accommodate your pet if they have any disability or special requirements for daily life. Also please let me know if your pet is particularly shy or reactive, I m experienced in that department as well!
A typical day
Usually while I’m watching someone’s pet, I will first check with the owner to see what their pet’s typical play routine looks like. In addition to this play routine, I like to play with dogs outside in the park, take them on long walks, and give them as much love as they are comfortable receiving. I like to play with cats using a string toy or scrunchy foil toy that gets them in a playful, hunting mood. I can sit and play with them for hours, really!

Availability
I work from 9 to 5 at home, but I have a lot of flexibility throughout the day—even during working hours—to care for pets. I also own two critters of my own, so it’s a part of my daily routine to care for pets! I simply love it!
