First of all, I love all furry things, and I am a huge animal lover. I am a vegetarian because I have such a huge heart for animals. Regarding my history with dogs, I've grown up all my life with dogs until I left to go to college. During my high school years, I dog sat overnight frequently and would also dog walk the neighborhood dogs. I have taken my dog to many doggy training classes, so I also know some training techniques. I have administered oral dog medication before as well. This past year, I began volunteering at the anti-cruelty society, so I have come into contact with many dogs varying from physical stature to personality to energy age. With my experience at the shelter, I have learned how to deal with different dog energy levels, and I have come to appreciate the uniqueness of each dog, and that each dog deserves special attention and love. Overall, I have learned that trust is extremely important when it comes to taking care of dogs because if you trust them, they will trust you back. Finally, dogs are so much fun! and I wish I had more dog friends than human friends. Tug o war is my favorite game!
