I have been professionally dog, cat & house sitting for about 8 years now and have about 12 regular clients in & around SB. I grew up in a home with numerous animals and understand that pets are far more than pets, they are core members of the family and deserve to be treated as so! I also have various experience with exotic animals in zoo, rehabilitation, & shelter settings so I am comfortable will a wide spectrum of behaviors and needs.

She immediately bonded with my dog (Snickers the boxer) and by the end of our initial meet-up I felt totally at ease and reassured by her punctuality, maturity, quality communication, and genuine interest in doing a good job. I live in a very clean, minimal, spacious, & mellow house with a fenced-in front yard. The house is in a quiet neighborhood by Cottage Hospital, with minimal traffic & various local parks nearby. I am a natural-born neat freak, so if you feel comfortable having me stay in your home, I can guarantee that it will be as clean (usually cleaner) than when you left.

It is incredibly helpful for me to understand all of their unique needs, preferences, triggers, favorites, & behavioral quirks. This includes their temperament around men, other dogs, & children. If your dog is a rescue (or has been through trauma), I understand that they may be sensitive to particular stimuli. Each animal comes with a different past and I want to respect and honor that as best as I can.
A typical day
I can take your pup on short or long walks around the neighborhood, hikes in the mountains, strolls on the beach, and/or a scenic drive, whatever your dog prefers and is capable of!

I am currently a zoology student at UCSB but I work from home. I have very flexible timing throughout the week to ensure that all your animal’s specific needs are met.
