I am very disappointed with the service I received. I was already upset with the way things were unfolding during the morning but when I had a friend come check on the pups they found my back gate wide open. When I returned home I was very upset with things I found in my home. I felt disrespected and felt like my pups were not cared for. Also I paid for services through 8 pm. When the visit was not going well and I felt uncomfortable I did tell Elizebeth she could leave but was shocked when she replied she was available till 5:00. We had discussed hours and expectations in detail and I felt they were disregarded all the way around. At that point I just wanted to end the visit so I was trying to be cordial without further complications until I could get someone to come stay with them. I really hate that this happened because I was very much needing a dependable sitter. I would really like a refund because I definitely did not receive the service I paid for.

Unfortunately, this ended up not going as expected for our 2nd overnight stay with Elizabeth. I did not encounter any problems and was very happy after our first. I do not have any major complaints in particular. We have two large water bowls outside, they were completely empty and dry when we got home at 6pm and at 3:00 pm she mentioned she filed them up. I am not implying she did or did not. However, when I came home and filled them, you would think they hadn’t had a drink all weekend. Maybe they played hard, I don’t know. However, I sent a message with a statement that said “Hi - the dogs had no water in either container. Completely dry. Thanks for watching them.” She responded with “I’ve gone ahead and canceled the rest of the bookings. Accusing rather than asking would have more appropriate. I consistently refilled their water containers every day & rinsed them out bc the dirt that was in the bowls.” One of our doodles puts her face and paws daily in the bowls (always has) and yes they get red dirt in them and we live in the country. We have 6 doodles. Elizabeth (unless their was a guest) with her) also had gotten into my husband’s multivitamins and there were 7 spread out on the bathroom counter. We are not upset, but found it super odd and extremely random. I’m more only writing this review because I left a statement and she claims it as an accusation and left feedback on my profile that I want to see and Rover will only let us after a review. We use a dog sitter SO much that and this is a first in our books and we have only needed two other sitters over the last 6 years because they are so loyal and regular, so this is an unusual circumstance for us as clients. I saw another review about a dog not having water and food for an extended amount of time with Elizabeth, so reviews can be helpful in that regard for future instances. Otherwise, everything was taken care of in the home and communication was good and dogs were happy to see us.
