Hi, i'm Lizzie! I have a very sweet cat called Nelson who we found through Cats Protection…we would love to have a family dog but unfortunately Nelson is very protective of his home and he was here first! ​ I've grown up in a farming family, where I have always been surrounded by animals from all the usual farm animals to cats, working collies and our much loved springer spaniel Jessie. ​ In the past I worked at an amazing dog and cat charity in the cattery department. Here I gained a wealth of experience looking after a variety of breeds, ages, temperaments and cats with medical and behaviour issues. I was also trained in feline stress management and dog behaviour. ​ Although originally from Devon I lived in the big smoke for a few years where I ran a successful cat sitting business in South West London. However, the draw of the countryside meant we eventually returned back to our little slice of heaven in Devon a couple years ago. With my family firmly settled here, now feels the right time to get back into what I love doing...working with animals!
