4 Acres Fenced. 24/7 Loving Care
Pet care experience
A little bit about me: I ran a highly successful pet sitting business for over 20 years and I have done in-home dog boarding in my own home for over 30 years. While I'm not an expert in dog training, my years of experience have taught me quite a bit about dog behaviors. I'm skilled with most dog breeds, shy animals, special needs animals.... you name it... I've cared for them! I have had diabetic dogs and cats, dogs in wheelchairs, 3 legged dogs, blind dogs, etc. I have had thousands of very satisfied clients over the years. I'm a retired pediatric nurse, and my medical knowledge comes in handy when caring for pets. I have 3 dogs of my own and I know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your precious babies. I'm certified in both human and pet CPR and First Aid. (My cats are kept in a separate area of our home in their own little "cat apartment") My passion for animals and my attention to their specific needs is what my clients love about me. I enjoy my work and have always had a passion for animals. I still (at age 60) enjoy doing it very much! When searching for a sitter, please keep in mind that while their price may be low, most of them have other jobs/ commitments to tend to and have zero experience. I focus 100% on the pets in my care. I am knowledgeable about dog behaviors and I know how to handle emergencies. I don't work another job and I am home most of the day, other than to run errands. Even then, my husband works from home, so he is usually here when I am not. We have no young children and are not party goers. (we prefer animals to people ;) The dogs in my care get LOTS of exercise, playtime, cuddle time and we love snuggling in bed with them. They will not ever be caged or kenneled in our care.
Reviews
Elizabeth and her husband are the best sitters we have ever used. Property is exceptional and her care of my 2 puppies was above and beyond. excellent. If you want the best of the best this sitter is the one for you!
We could not have been happier booking with Beth for our two fur babies. She is worth every penny and took great care of them on short notice. Lots of open space for them to run. She communicated with us regularly during their stay giving us much appreciated updates, pictures, and videos. We have one high energy puppy and an older dog who prefers her down time and personal space she was able accommodate both their needs. They both came home relaxed and happy! Thank you Beth!
We were so pleased with the care Harvey was given during his stay. It’s never easy leaving your pet while away, but Beth provided updates which put us at ease. Harvey looked happy and had all the fun. We will definitely be using Beth for future sitting needs. Thank you both again- Harvey is still worn out from his fun stay at the pet oasis. 🥰
If you need a sitter to take care of your dogs or cats, I highly recommend you reach out to Elizabeth. She stayed with my cats for 5 days while I enjoyed a stress-free vacation knowing my pets were being well-cared for back home. Elizabeth was very friendly, responsive and professional from the get go. She had a meet and greet with me and my cats, Max and Luka, prior to the stay to gather insight on their routines, likes and little quirks, which helped them warm up to her beginning on day 1. While away, she kept me updated with texts, photos and videos, and I came home to healthy and happy cats, who seem to have made a new friend in Elizabeth.

Safety, trust & environment
When caring for pets in our home, I am willing to keep them on their same routine and feeding schedules that you have for them. I have no objection to bed sleepers (in fact, I prefer it!) I can bathe them, trim nails (if they're not too fussy about it) and do brushing of teeth, ear cleaning. I can also do some basic training, such as leash walking and correctional behaviors if needed. Please ask for details and pricing. I do not take any aggressive or bully breeds for safety reasons. All dogs must pass an initial evaluation to ensure that they are good with other dogs. I do not take any un-neutered dogs over the age of 8 months. And we cannot take any dogs who are overly dominant or play too rough with the others. We want all of our doggie guests to be comfortable here. Our priorities are safety first, then comfort of the dog and finally pure joy on their little faces :)

Information Elizabeth W. would like to know about your pet
I need to know that their shots are up to date, what their temperament is like, if they are protective or aggressive in any way. I need to know if they are neutered. I need to know if they have any medical issues. I like to know what their quirks are, their likes and dislikes. And I love to see pics of them! We can never have "too much" information when it comes to caring for someone's pets! I would much rather have too much information than not enough!
A typical day
We have 4 acres of land, all fenced in and fenced in walking trails which the dogs love! We walk the trails (about 1/4 mile loop of wooded walking trails) at least 4-5 times a day... rain, shine, snow... we're out there!! We have a tennis ball launcher and numerous toys. I also can work on agility training for dogs if you have interest in that. We have a heated swimming pool and offer swim sessions in the summer for the dogs. For those who would prefer something a little less intense, I fill baby pools in the summer for splash time. Whatever the dogs prefer, and some prefer to avoid water at all cost which is fine too! Our philosophy here is "A tired dog is a good dog!"

I don't just care for pets as a part time job. This is my full time job. They are my entire life! So, I would be able to focus on your pets 100%, other than to run errands or do an occasional dog walk.
