Dogs and cats are great friends and family in our lives. I love meeting new animals as much as I love meeting new people. Opening my horizons and getting to know everyone is one of the things I like doing because it also opens up new knowledge and views around me. Becoming part of the community and knowing my neighbors, animals, and cultures is a beautiful and fun thing for me to do personally. I'm open to everyone and anyone out there for helping in care of their furry babies whether it is for dogs, cats, or both. I worked as a dog sitter for about 4 years with my friends, family and nearby neighbors. I mostly worked with one neighbor who had about 8 different breeds of dogs who lived on a few acres of land. I walked them 2 at a time switching them into different groups so they can be socialized properly and have a fun time. I made sure to feed them all and prepared meals according to their health care. I have lived next to a farm for a couple years and volunteered to help assist with washing, feeding, grooming, and transferring of the animals. I have two dogs and two cats of my own. The eldest dog is 6 years old I saved from being released into the streets. His name is Jelly Bean and he is a wiener and chihuahua mix. The youngest dog is a year and 3 months old who was originally born as an outside dog to my neighbors but raised her as an inside dog. Her name is Parmesan and is a pug and chihuahua mix. My cats are brother and sister. The boy is a long haired black cat named Lucky and the girls is Mocha and she is a short haired spotted calico. They are both 3 years old.
