Pet care experience

Hello, My name is Liz and my fiance's name is Jared, and we have a country home with a fenced-in yard. We have 3 small/medium dogs, 2 very chill cats, and 10 roosters! The roosters have their own house outside, though. We are experienced in caring for dogs of all sizes, but would prefer to host small- or medium-sized dogs due to the size of our smallest dog (7 lbs). They are all dog-friendly. If you have a larger dog that is friendly toward small dogs, we would be happy to consider. We also love older dogs and have much experience attending to their needs. Lastly, we have the ability to keep any dogs in the kitchen area with the impermeable floor - so if your small or older dog is prone to accidents in the house, that's no issue for us at all! We deal with it frequently with our small dogs. Our house is not large, but as far as pet care, you can rest assured that we will provide the same amount of compassion and affection to your dog(s) as to our own dogs. We are very empathetic, and we know how scary it is for a dog to go to a new place without their guardian. We will do everything we can to make your best friend comfortable and relaxed. Liz is a regular volunteer in the behavior department at the Capital Area Humane Society, and has experience with positive reinforcement training. Companion animal behavior is a strong passion of hers and she is working toward gaining credentials in dog and cat behavior. We both work full-time, but are always home in the evenings and on weekends. We look forward to connecting with you!

Liz is amazing with dogs! Besides being a responsible pet owner of three rescue dogs and two cats, she volunteers her time at the local Humane Society in Lansing, and works with dogs there who need extra attention and care to overcome their anxiety or behavioral problems. My two dogs absolutely love Liz, and get lots of attention and love from her when she dog sits. I’m definitely comfortable with Liz taking care of my dogs overnight in my home, while I am away. She is an excellent dog sitter, and I highly recommend her!

Liz is amazing with our animals and has been our farmsitter for more than 4 years. Our dogs absolutely love when she comes to stay. She pays attention to all the details, from the dogs and the cats, to the rabbits, chickens, horses, and donkey. She knows their personalities and gives us a heads up if someone isn't acting normal, even a broody hen! Our elderly dogs require medication and special treatment that Liz willingly and lovingly provides.

I never worry about my dogs when they're with Elizabeth! Hands down, she is the most thoughtful, caring, and sincere animal lover. She treats them like her own and loves them dearly. They are always so happy to around her and that makes me happy and less guilty for leaving them behind!

We have had Liz care for our pets [dogs and birds] for many years. Liz is caring, knowledgeable and responsible, taking the best care of our pets and keeping our home clean and safe. We have had Liz care for 3 old dogs, dispense medicine as well as food and give our pets all the love and attention they needed in our absence. We have been absolutely blessed to have found her!
