Pet care experience
I began sitting through Rover over 11 years ago, time flies when you're booping snoots! I have a bachelors degree in wildlife biology, so caring for animals is more than a hobby for me. :) In the past 10 years, I've worked a dog trainer, pet sitter, grooming assistant, wildlife biologist, and volunteered as a foster parent and shelter assistant. I truly love every opportunity I've had to work with animals. I built a network of kind and caring human and pet friends along the way. Reactivity: I am comfortable with dog-reactive dogs thanks to my background as a dog trainer and foster parent. If you have a dog needing walks who is dog-reactive, feel free to send a message. If you have any questions, please message me!
Reviews
Elizabeth was incredible and my dog had an amazing time with her. She did well with her reactivity and spent quality time helping her burn her energy as well. I would recommend Elizabeth to anyone and will be using her again without hesitation.
Continues to be an excellent resource and dog walker!
Ellie is an excellent dog walker. She’s been super attentive to our newly adopted dog and was able to take him on co-walks with her dog Ole. She’s consistent, communicative, and very knowledgeable about dog behavior and communication. So lucky to have such an excellent resource in our neighborhood.
Elizabeth did a great job, caring for Sky. Her sweet dog, Ole, was a wonderful companion for Sky. Sky thoroughly enjoyed his vacation with Elizabeth and Ole. All the pictures I got were proof!

You can expect me to always double check gates and fences for being properly secured and always staying tuned in to your pets' needs throughout the stay. Safety and trust is built through communication - I will stay communicative with you throughout the entire stay so that you can feel as comfortable as possible while away from your pet.

Information Elizabeth S. would like to know about your pet
Please include your pet's up-to-date veterinary information and any health and behavioral information that is pertinent to our stay. Information such as allergies, and temperament around other animals and people are great to know! All information, no matter how small or seemingly irrelevant, is welcomed.
A typical day
I will always do my best to match the routine your pets have, and I like to expand beyond that. During longer stays, I like to do extra little activities like hikes and fun adventures. I also do mobile nail trimming around Portland and try to give each of my clients a free nail trim during a stay if they're cooperative. ;)

I can accommodate separation anxiety pets. My typical schedule and life activities never have me out of the house for more than 2-4 hours but I can adjust this as needed. I work from home normally, with some hybrid work in-office. I do have clients with separation anxiety who never get left alone, as well as high energy clients who need longer walks and enrichment activities. I am also reactive-dog savvy and can accommodate reactive dogs! 🙂
