I grew up with golden retrievers and learned about caring for dogs from early childhood. In addition to the skills that come with being a lifelong dog owner, I also worked at a doggy daycare as a summer job before I got involved with Rover. I'm a recent college grad and freelance writer, and I'm thrilled to work with dogs while my time of life doesn't enable me to have one of my own yet. My temperament tends toward calm and easygoing, and I've found that I enjoy bringing shy pups out of their shells - though I'm always up for tearing around the yard with a tennis ball and a frisbee. (I am also happy to take care of cats!) Currently my schedule is flexible, and I am vaccinated as of May 15 2021. (I will continue to operate according to common-sense masking and social distance protocols and ask that my clients do likewise to the best of their ability.)
