Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of my family dog (a lively lab/collie cross) since I was 15 (now 24) including training him and walking him. I love walking, and would take him for a 2 mile walk every day - happy to take a longer walk if a dog needed it! I also regularly look after my friends’ energetic Staffy.

Rambo always loves his days with Elizabeth. He runs to the door and straight in without looking back. When I come to pick him up he is in no hurry to leave either. Elizabeth also gives great updates through his stay showing he is having a lovely stay

I currently have a flat, so not a lot of room for the zoomies - however, more than happy to take the dog out regularly for loo breaks and a bit of fresh air. My living situation probably wouldn’t suit a very lively dog who needs a lot of space, but happy to accommodate for different needs when I can.

As I don’t have any pets of my own living with me, I don’t have any water/food bowls or toys etc, so would request that the owner provided these when they drop off the pooch. Please also let me know of specific details of any routines, walk lengths, mealtimes etc.
A typical day
As I’m home all day, I’ll always be ready to give the dogs plenty of love and affection as well as playing with them! I live next to the canal so plenty of good, quiet walking routes available as well. I’m an avid walker so happy to do both short and long walks, and more than 1 a day if that’s required.

Availability
I currently work full time from home, 8-5 with an hours lunch break which I use to take a walk. I’d be at home all day and my work is flexible so can accommodate routines around this (within reason)
