I have a lot of time where home and flexibility. I have 2 dogs of my own since the summer of 2013. Both are rescues. I have experience with small dogs, senior dogs, giving seizure meds, and taking good care of dogs for friends family etc. I’ve done cat sitting in the past as well.

Liz Ruch has walked and cared for my 55 lb coonhound/beagle/shepherd mix as needed for many years (7+ years). She has 2 older, healthy, well cared for smaller dogs of her own. I have a fenced in medium size yard. I do have 2 dogs of my own under 20 lbs. They are 14 and 11. One has seizures that are controlled but they are both social and sweet. We can figure out what is best for your dog and situation.

I need to know your dogs breed. I need to know some vet info, vaccinations that they are on flea and tick meds and heart guard prevention. I need to discuss any health or behavior concerns. You know your dog so I need to know as much as possible about what they need and if I could be a good fit.
A typical day
I would spend time with them and be sure they get quality outside time and adequate exercise and of course water and treats and attention. Customize to suit your pets needs.

Availability
I’m flexible with my schedule with some exceptions. I would like to stay close to my side of town 40503. I unfortunately cannot stay in your home overnight. I can drop in or my home may be an option for the right dog. I can do drop ins and walks while you are at work or let your dog take a break from the crate or being stuck inside.
