I've lived with dogs for 15 years, had a cat of my own for 8 of those years, and now also have a 1.5 year old Aussie/Corgi mix that is absolute chaos but also the sweetest little guy. My dog is also reactive, though not aggressive, so Im very familiar with the training techniques and behaviors of reactive pups. Below I've outlined how I train my reactive dog but your dog's needs might be different. What I do: We use treats and redirection for our dog's training. We also carefully watch for the physical signs that may be telling us he's overstimulated and need to be removed from a situation before he gets triggered and reacts.
