Life is short, pet a dog!
Pet care experience
Your doggo will stay in my house a few minutes off the 95 Girard exit. My husband and I do our best to provide a comfortable family environment for your pets while they are away from you! ***FAQ*** Do you board lots of dogs at the same time? A: Generally no. I don’t host dogs from multiple households at the same time, and if there is any overlap in bookings I will discuss that with you before booking your pet’s stay and would only recommend it if I think it’s responsible to do so and the dogs will enjoy company. Our goodboy Kairu recently passed away at the age of 15 and we’re not ready for another dog of our own yet. What will my dog do during the day? A: We try to make our dog guests feel as comfortable and they are free to roam around the house however they like. They can play with toys, nap wherever they want, go out back and sniff around, look out the windows, bark at the mailman and so on. We walk the dogs outside 2x/day for full day stays and 1x for half days. Do you accept all dogs? A: I don’t accept every dog. Requests need to have completed profiles with a picture and I need to have availability as we don’t usually book multiple dogs at once. Dogs need to properly socialized around humans, house broken, not have any fleas, ticks, or illnesses that can be transmitted to other dogs. Q: What if my dog has accidents inside or doesn’t get along with other dogs? If your dog doesn’t get along with other dogs or has occasional accidents let me know! We can most likely still accommodate them but I need to know this stuff ahead of time. Do you need to meet my dog before their stay? A: Yes. I like to meet the dogs in person to get to know them before booking and will work with you to schedule to meet you at your home, at my home, or in a familiar park near your home. Do you walk my dog? A: Yes, depending on the length of stay they will be walked outside 1-2 times per day and have multiple potty breaks. Do you feed my dog/give medicine? A: Yes, please provide food and instructions for medicine and I will make sure they have everything they need. They have access to water at all times. Can I bring toys, blankets, food/water bowls, etc.? A: yes, bring whatever will make your pet comfortable. We have room for it, but I have bowls for food and water and a large size crate so you don’t need to bring those. Just make sure everything is relatively clean (I understand it belongs to a dog) and there are no fleas. Will you crate my dog? A: No, not unless you tell me they need to be crated and they seem comfortable in the crate. If the dog has severe anxiety/appears they are going to hurt themselves trying to get out of the crate I will not crate them. We will treat your dog like they are our own!
Reviews
Elizabeth is our go to sitter for our pup. We get regular updates and she is very flexible.
Elizabeth did such a great job taking care of my doggy. She was very attentive to his needs and followed our instructions well. She was always reaching out to us to keep us posted on my doggy's experience. She is very proactive, she sent us a bunch of pictures, and she communicated quickly. I'm so grateful that she was able to take care of my doggy, and I would definitely let her take care of him again.
Elizabeth is a very caring dog sitter. We loved the daily update photos she sent us. Wakka had such a relaxing and fun time with her. She was also very flexible with the drop off and pick up times. We would definitely book with her again! Highly recommended!!
Elizabeth was wonderful. Sent lots of pics of our pup and communicated regularly about how he was doing! We look forward to working with Elizabeth again.
