Animal lover caring animal activist

Pet care experience

Absolutely adore dogs! They are Sentient beings that are intuitive, innately kind & intelligent. I’ve been an active member of PETA & the Humane Society of the United States for over 15 years & have been involved in animal rescue. I’ve advocated for the rights of bully breeds & against Breed specific legislation targeting & discriminating against Pitbull terriers❤️. I believe in adoption over purchasing animals. I love all breeds of dogs & have experience with toy breeds to the vulnerable bully breeds. I lost Mr. Dash 3 years ago, he was a rescue tuxedo pitbull I adopted when he was 5 weeks old a day before being turned over to a kill shelter. He changed my perspective on animals. I learned how connected & intuitive dogs are, & how they are able to sense their human counter parts. I'm ready to open my home to yours as a professional who is experienced, ethical & devoted to the care and welfare of animals<3 Professionally I am a nurse so I guess I have a knack for taking care of everyone:) When your dog or puppy is in my care he or she will be treated with kindness and care akin to yours. Flexible hours, a huge back yard & all the attention they will need! Over the past 6 months I have established some wonderful client's. My niche is simple. I only accept a small number of pets per day so I can guarantee the best sitting experience for your pet. Pets with separation anxiety is my specialty. I can call them and slowly earn their trust. You will take note that your 🐶 will be at ease when in my care. I have a flexible work schedule so I love having a four legged pup around when I can. We love long walks on the lake! I have a large fenced yard. As a nurse I’m good about care management. Whether it’s dietary, health, or medicine administration-I am on top of it:) Pets are family, in my care that’s exactly what they are❤️

Elizabeth is really nice. From the pictures it seems like they gave my dog lots of attention and he appeared to be very comfortable. This was my first time using Rover and it was overall a good experience.

Elizabeth seems very nice, but she is not a good groomer. I feel terrible saying this, but she butchered my dog's haircut. I really would not recommend her for grooming.

Elizabeth was so easy to work with! She was super flexible on the switching times/days I had to coordinate with my foster dog’s appointments! She groomed my foster pup, Sylvester. He is a sweet senior that was a stray and not recently groomed. She was able to do an amazing job on his very uneven coat (from surgery and just a lack of grooming because he was a stray). She was so easy to communicate with and did such a great job (and was able to do a last minute grooming appointment). I loved how she took the time to bond with him before getting the groom started! It’s clear she truly loves dogs! He left the grooming smelling and looking FABULOUS! Will definitely book again for my actual dogs!

Information Elizabeth R. would like to know about your pet

I love to know about a dogs personality, energy levels and habits. That will help me tailor his or her stay to fit their needs. I love all dogs but have a soft spot for Bully pit bull breeds. They've had it rough so they deserve love, protection and justice.

A typical day

Play time, tons of pets, backyard fetch, belly rubs, snacking, TV time, tricks and rewards. Lots of love:) I love ❤️ taking the dogs for long walks lake front. Dog parks if suitable are nice too
