Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of household pets of many kinds since I was 10. My friends, family, neighbors and employers have relied on me to walk, feed and administer oral medications as well as shots. I have also stayed at their home to care for their pets for both long and short periods of time.

Elizabeth was so kind, responsive, and helpful! My flight back home was canceled and she kindly agreed to stay late. She gave the dogs nice long walks and they seemed to adore her, even my anxious pup! Definitely recommend!

With clients pets and my own pets I take them outside many times a day to play and go for walks. I play with the pets when they are active or bring toys. I always make sure they have water and are fed at the times requested of the client. If the pets are crate or room trained I make sure they are in there before leaving. I regularly check for things that may be hazardous to the pet as well as check if they have damaged something or created a choking hazard from their toys.

My goal is to make your pet has comfortable and happy as I can. Please let me know if your dog has any specific needs or preferences that will make them happiest and most comfortable such as what “the toy” of the moment is. I am aware of the harmful foods to pets however, are there any safe foods you allow them to have?
A typical day
I love to take the dog on long walks in the area. When available we go to a park or field and play for a while. I make sure to bring their toy if they prefer fetch or tug-o-war to simply running around. When able I enjoy taking the dogs on the Montpelier site and Saunders-Monticello hiking trails as well as to the Rivana in Charlottesville. While at home with the dogs I stimulate them playing with toys or moving around the house. I sit on the ground or on furniture to pet and cuddle with them if that is what the pet is wanting.

I am a project based contract employee and am currently not working on any projects. I am available excluding Wednesdays. I work 2 days a week at an acrobatic studio for 1hr in the evenings.
