Pet care experience

FULLY INSURED WITH PETCAREINS . COM My experience with pets includes working with Dr. Cassutto as a Pet Nurse for 3 years. I've worked with many dog breeds and was once owned by a Siberian Husky named Loki who has passed on. I am comfortable giving medications and injections and will let you know if I notice any problems your pet might have. I specialize in elderly dogs and dogs who would not do well in a kennel environment. Doggie guests must be cat-tolerant as I have three kitties. This means your dog must not bark at the cats. I also require flea treatments, rabies vaccination and some form of ID on the collar. At night, your dog is welcome to sleep on our couch. My yard is enormous but a small part is fenced in. I love to play fetch and run around off leash with doggie friends. I am more than happy to give you a tour of my home and yard, feel free to contact me for a “Meet and Greet”! If your home is in my zone of service (see map in photo section), I can provide drop-in visits for cats and dogs during daylight hours only. I'm happy to bring in your mail and water your indoor plants as well! If I sound like a good fit for your needs, please contact me! If you have any questions just ask. I am fully insured with Pet Care Ins. Rover has the option of charging a Holiday Rate, which I only apply to my services during Thanksgiving and Christmas. Meet and Greets: I strongly prefer to have a meet and greet with all new clients. I try to schedule M&Gs for boarding services at my home M-F between 4 pm and 7 pm, though some mornings would also be acceptable. M&Gs for drop-in visits and dog walking are at your convenience, however, I do not offer any M&Gs on the weekend. I will be closed to new clients during peak demand simply because I am not able to schedule a meet and greets. Peak demand normally occurs during parts of June, July, and December. Please book early for the best results.

Elizabeth was super about the whole process of taking care of our cat over the Christmas holiday. She stopped by every day and gave her some attention, and we felt good knowing that such a responsible person was taking care of our cat and checking in. Thanks, Elizabeth!

Information Elizabeth P. would like to know about your pet

I would like to know how your dog handles cats? Is your dog friendly with 10 yo kids? When your dog was last treated for fleas? Is your dog's rabies vaccination is up to date? I require a current flea treatment, rabies tag certificate, but prefer to have the rabies tag on the dog's collar. I try to board only one dog at a time, but sometimes arrivals and departures over lap. I will keep doggie guests as separate as possible if necessary, please be understanding about my other clients, they don't always know exactly when they will be able to pick up their dog. I try to be flexible with everyone.

A typical day

I can walk your dog around my own 1.7 acres, play off leash in my fenced in yard, and relax inside in the AC. If my sons (age 16 and 10) are home, your dog will have two extra playmates. I also enjoy brushing dogs and they always love it too!
