Pet care experience
Hello! I have had dogs of various breeds my whole life and have been pet sitting a variety of breeds from large German Shepherds to mini Pomeranians for about 22 years! I have experience with dog births, raising/training puppies, and tending to elderly dogs in their final days. Have been my neighbor’s dog sitter for about 12 years and loved it dearly. Also have experience administering medicine to different breeds. I am very friendly with animals and very patient when training them. Have two of my own, they are very anxious as they were born in the home and are survivors of an attack. Despite that they are very friendly, they're older, but with lots of energy and very playful!

Elizabeth has been caring for our dogs when we are out of town for many years. She is absolutely trustworthy, and takes excellent care of the animals. When we get home, the dogs are calm and happy. Elizabeth has helped identify illness in one of our dogs. She communicates when there is something going on we should know about. We could not ask for a better dog walker and house sitter.

In the client's home, I respect their wishes in regards to not entering private spaces, eating food, etc. I use the allotted space to entertain and train the pet, I pick up after the pet and always leave the home more organized or as it was when I arrived. What the pet does to the home after I've left is, sadly out of my control.

What kinds of activities they like to do and any training exercises the owner would like to be worked on. Also, any behaviors that should be positively/negatively reinforced. An overhsare of information is better than minimal information.
A typical day
I love hiking and know various trails dog-friendly trails to take dogs on, depending on their size and endurance. I love doing training sessions owners may be working on and love playing with dogs. I love hiking in the mountains, near creeks, and through parks as well!
