Best care for your fur babies!

Pet care experience

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Please remember to bring everything your dog will need during their stay- collar, leash, food, treats, bowls, poop bags, etc. Whatever your pup may need to feel comfortable & enjoy their stay. We do potty breaks every 3-4hrs. I do only accept FULLY potty trained & housebroken dogs to keep my home in great condition. ABOUT ME: We are a military family that LOVE animals! My extensive experience is not just from owning pets but from actually working with them in a professional & educational setting. I’ve worked in the veterinary, grooming, boarding/training business for 23 years collectively starting off with my first job at a prestigious training ranch in California at 15 years old. I have studied Veterinary Medicine extensively & have experience working in an animal hospital, boarding facilities & dabbed in grooming. I immediately fell in love with caring for animals & providing a loving & nurturing atmosphere while they were in my care. I’ve also volunteered at local horse stables back in Colorado & shelters in Virginia. I am now actively caring for your babies in the comfort of my own home.

Elizabeth was a wonderful host to my Lindsay girl. She kept me updated with pics and text messages daily which helped put my mind at ease. That said, I wouldn't hesitate to have her and her family take care of Lindsay again, and would highly recommend her for anyone looking for someone to take care of their pet(s). Outstanding.

My 2 children & I will be consistently caring for all of our pups so your baby will never feel neglected or be left alone. This is NOT a kennel & your precious baby will never spend their days alone or in a crate. They will have plenty of room to play in & out of our home & have unlimited love given to make their time away from their family as comfortable as possible. If there are other dogs in my home during your scheduled stay, introductions are established very slowly to ensure their comfort & are supervised at all times. Our goal is to have every dog feel just as loved & comfortable as they would in their own home. We are able to provide separate accommodations within our large home & staggered meal times/potty breaks if it’s ever needed. Their safety & happiness is top priority!

Information Elizabeth P. would like to know about your pet

Please provide as much information in your initial message about potty behaviors, special requirements/circumstances, health related issues, behavioral concerns: hyperactivity, chewing, biting, dominance, marking territory, excessive barking, etc. or any concerns you may possibly have so we will both make an informed decision on the best fit for your dog & be prepared for their upcoming visit! You will receive daily updates & pictures to ease your mind & give comfort that your fur baby is in the best care outside of your own while you’re away! Now that we’ve gotten all that out of the way, if you’re interested in my services feel free to message me! Thank you!!

A typical day

MY REQUESTS FOR ALL DOGS: •All dogs MUST be FULLY potty trained & house trained. You’re welcome to provide diapers if you’re concerned of potty accidents or marking. •Must not have fleas/ticks. •All dogs must have been bathed within the last 30 days. I do not have a fenced in yard & I do not board outside dogs. •Must be up to date on vaccinations- age appropriate. •Do not currently have or recently (within last 30 days) had any contagious diseases, worms or sickly. •Do NOT have high anxiety (including high separation anxiety), destructive behaviors or are excessively hyper active. Given my demanding daily schedule, I am unable to accommodate the needs of hyper active dogs at this time. VERY IMPORTANT: I do NOT accept any dogs that are aggressive. If your dog shows any sign of aggression such as biting, fighting, lunging at other dogs or humans then I will immediately have to end their stay & emergency contacts will be notified for pick up if you are unable to be reached. PLEASE have an accurate emergency contact if you’re not going to be able to retrieve your pet. Owners will be reimbursed accordingly. Aggressive dogs create a highly stressful & dangerous environment for everyone & we do not want that for anyone! If your dog is unable to be around other dogs, please make that known upon booking. PLEASE do not fail to disclose any of the above information & understand that there is a possibility that your dog may react differently outside of your home, away from your family & in a new environment so proper protocols need to be in place to ensure everyone’s safety. I am responsible for protecting my family & every single animal in my care, so I will not be able to accept any pets that fall into the above criteria. MY REQUESTS FOR ALL OWNERS: •PLEASE arrive at your scheduled drop-off/pick-up times! We will agree on a time during booking & that will be the required time to show. I understand things happen, so please communicate with me so I can try to make every effort realistically possible to accommodate you. I will be very transparent as I do have other responsibilities to tend to daily, so please be considerate of both of our schedules. If you are one hour late, your booking will be automatically canceled & you will be reimbursed according to the refund policies. A $20 late fee will be implemented for any owners who are more than 30 minutes late to their scheduled appointment times without communication. Each day of boarding gives a full 24hrs of care. Drop off time will equate to pickup time. Special accommodations can be made for later pick ups & the booking will be modified to compensate the extended time of care given. •PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE keep open communication with me. If anything changes or you will be late, please let me know & we can adjust accordingly. I’m here to support your family & offer the best care possible! ***I do work very hard with accommodating my clients, however I still work from home (required zoom meetings & customer calls) & I also homeschool my children so waiting for late clients throws my entire pre-planned schedule off. These policies were put in place to ensure we both have a smooth & painless experience. •Please do not forget to bring all food, dishes, toys, leashes, dog poop bags (we do clean up after ourselves to keep happy neighbors), crates (if needed), puppy pads (if needed)—anything your pet may need during their daily care or boarding. PLEASE do NOT forget a leash & collar as we do daily walks; dependent on health/abilities. I will not start any bookings until a leash & collar are provided. I will not go buy one myself to be reimbursed as it’s been suggested before. This is the owner’s responsibility. ***I know this all may sound like a lot, but there’s a reason why I am very detailed & any of this had to be addressed :) It may have happened before & having everything written out makes for no confusion. Upon confirming your booking request you are acknowledging that you have thoroughly read my profile & agree to the terms listed. CRATING: I do not require crating in my home, however owner will need to provide one if they require crating or have shown any recent signs of separation anxiety & cannot be left out freely. The owner is responsible for any damage that their pet causes while in my home to include cleaning fees if their pet has repeated accidents. It’s best to have a crate if you’re unsure of the reaction your pet may have while out of your home & in a new environment, but again we do not require any crating. It will be up to the owner’s discretion. DOGGY DAYCARE: These bookings will be on an as needed basis. I may not be able to accommodate all last minute requests for daycare the same day. PENDING REQUESTS: If a booking isn’t confirmed within 48hrs of sending a request (unless we are pending a scheduled meet & greet) then I automatically decline & archive it to free up the pending spot your request holds to keep my calendar up to date so I can accept other pending bookings. HOUSE SITTING: When I have extra time, I do offer house sitting but I have a family so I am unable to stay in a client’s home overnight. My rate covers 3-4 drop in visits per day for potty breaks, feedings & playtime/walks. I will verify that there are no issues in the home & clean up any messes your pet may have made with the supplies that are left out for me. Please let me know your needs & we can create a schedule that works best for your dog.
