I've had dogs on and off throughout my childhood and the first thing I did once I moved out on my own was to go to the shelter and adopt a dog of my own. Our little pack has grown to two and for the past four years I've been caring for them both. I've given medication, taken them on hikes, pet parks, trimmed nails - all the things that come with owning a dog. I currently work full-time, so my boarding will be limited to long weekends or days that I'm working from home. I do have job flexibility which does allow me to schedule things in advance. So if you have a trip coming up and would like to get me on the books, I can arrange the time to make myself available to you. I have a yard that both of my dogs enjoy, but we are also close to Diogi Dog park and sometimes get adventerous and go to the newer one off of Lakeland Highlands. There is a very large walking trail within my neighborhood and the crew and I walk/jog it to tire them out. Sometimes, I will even bike with one of them. I have a new home that I moved into December 2018 and just celebrated one year. There's lots of dog beds and toys and sometimes we cuddle on the couch while I watch some Netflix. One of my dogs, Lady is not crated and the other, my Pembroke Welsh Corgi is crated when I am not home. So I am comfortable with whatever option is better for you and your pet. Both of my dogs are very playful with others and it isn't unusual for them to wrestle and zoomie about. They get along very well with other dogs and will be SURE to be the ultimate playmates.
