Perhaps the best example of my love for pets is the fact that my 11 year old self used “dog lover” as part of my old-school email address haha. I’ve always loved all sorts of animals and grew up with animal lovers - my family had dogs, cats, horses, goats, and chickens, and my sister is now a practicing veterinarian. I’ve pet sit for friends for over 10 years. I adopted an adorable tuxedo cat named Billie Jean in 2016, who has little kitty IBD. As a result, I know the importance of an appropriate diet, have intimate knowledge pilling a cat that has craftily figured out what pill pockets hold, and cleaning litter boxes, hairballs, and messes. In 2022, we adopted an extroverted chocolate-colored chihuahua / pit bull / dachshund mix named Eleanor Rigby, and now have plenty of experience with providing stimulus for a needy pup, and consider myself a successful survivor of teenage pup training. Most importantly, however, I know how important attention to detail, communication, and quality of care are, and will do my absolute all to be the best extended family for your fur baby.
