My husband and I went on a vacation where we were completely unreachable by phone, email, etc. and were a bit nervous leaving behind our cat. Not being available in an emergency worried us; however, Elizabeth made us feel secure knowing our cat was being watched by someone with experience and would remain calm if something happened. Of course, nothing happened (we're overly concerned pet parents). After being off the grid for a week, as ...
Highly, highly, highly recommend Liz! Our dachshund and jack russell were taken care of very well. So nice to see them so content when we got home. And the home was not only very clean when we arrived, but there were indoor flower and outdoor plant arrangements left in several places,--above and beyond!! Anyone reading this review would make a mistake in not choosing Liz. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!!
Elizabeth stayed with our dog Abby, who has anxiety issues. Meeting her before we left put us at ease, and knowing our girl was in good hands took a load off our backs. Elizabeth kept in constant contact with us and was a real pleasure to work with!
Reliable Dog Companion
I grew up with dogs - they were family members to us. Dogs seem to relate to me and I make them feel loved, feeling personally responsible for their happiness. The relationship I have with dogs is mutually beneficial - I love to walk and they love to walk. I hold them, pet them, comb them, clean them if they smell. I'm an early riser and so are dogs usually and I'm available dawn to dusk according ...
What Elizabeth would like to know about your dog
I have no breed preferences but would like to know their habits, and, most importantly, if they have any medical issues. I would like to know if they are accustomed to visit dog parks. Some dogs don't do well with other dogs so I would like to know if they are ok with other dogs in a leash-less environment.
I work flexibly around your dog's habits and can adjust my visits accordingly. Generally, if I am staying at my client's home, I will walk the dog(s) twice/day - one in the morning around 7-8am and one in the early evening around 4-5pm. I then go home for dinner and come back around 8pm. If more walks are required or you require a mid-day visit or specific times for giving your dog medication, we can discuss those options at our first meeting.
