I have been taking care of cats and dogs since I was 3 year old. I grew up with both animals. Growing up we had a pit bull and a boxer, so I am very comfortable with handling medium to larger dogs. As an adult, I spent a handful of years doing cat fostering through a local organization. I am comfortable with the uncomfortable including bathing (even cats), picking up dog poop, scooping litter boxes, and giving animals pills/medication when needed. I currently have 3 cats of my own. 2 who have medical conditions and get medication daily. I have helped friends when they are away and have cared for both cats and dogs in other individuals’ homes. Animals are the purest beings on this planet. I believe that they deserve to be treated with nothing but love and provide them with hopefully the same amount of love their owners provide.

Elizabeth was absolutely phenomenal with my complicated, demanding cats. I hadn’t left them with a sitter in years and she was incredibly reassuring, communicative, professional, prompt…everything I could’ve hoped for and more! Elizabeth was so patient and creative in getting my skittish kitty to eat and by the end he totally warmed up to her! She also went above and beyond by feeding my fish and shoveling my front walk. I feel so lucky and grateful to have found Elizabeth and will not hesitate to hire her again!
Elizabeth is a wonderful and extremely helpful cat sitter. You can trust her to do everything possible to make your pets happy while you are gone.
Elizabeth did such a great job caring for our cats. She left daily updates so we would know they were well cared for while we were gone!

My pets must follow a strict regimen due to some health issues that they were born with. I make sure to provide clean and sterile dishes for eating at every meal. My 3 cats get wet food 2 times a day to help provide extra fluid as well as dry food that is measured but they are able to graze on throughout the day. I make sure to stick to their medication schedule as well as providing grooming care for all 3 of my cats. They get play time in the morning and evening as well to help provide the stimulation that animals need. I always encourage providing treats for good behavior as well for them. 2 out of my 3 cats are also leash trained and enjoy going on little walks and adventures around my home. I promise to always provide the same amount of love and care to your animals as I do to mine. If you are someone who is looking for a sitter who will follow your rules to the letter and will always make sure to provide love, walks, and playtime, then I am the sitter for you!

I am able to handle most dogs, including larger breeds. With larger breeds though, I do like to take them on walks one at a time to make sure I have full control and your furry friend can get some special one-on-one attention. I do ask if that you do inform me if your dog is not good with other dogs. Please also let me know if your dog has a particular feeding regimen and any medications that need to be taken as well. Lastly, please let me know if there are any restrictions when it comes to treats, including meat such as baked chicken as I do like to reward dogs for good behavior.
A typical day
Since I do not have dogs of my own, I love to take full advantage of the situation and have as much fun with your dog as humanly possible. I will make sure to find the park nearest to you and take them there as well as a nice walk around your neighborhood. If there is a dog park near by, and with your approval of course, I would love to take your dog there and throw some tennis balls or your dogs favorite toy to fetch and have a fun time. Every walk or time in the dog park also means a treat at the end for your furry friend, unless otherwise deemed appropriate. I look forward to meeting your furry friend(s) and try my best to provide the same level of love and attention that you would give to them.

Availability
I currently work full-time as a Registered Dietitian at the Milwaukee VA. I provide care to my own cats every moment I am at home. This includes playtime, feedings, brushing, and mental stimulation to help meet their needs. I am looking to hopefully provide that love and assistance to your pets on weeknights and any time during the weekends!!
