I grew up in a home where animals were not considered pets but as members of the family. I was taught early on, as a child, how to love and care for them properly. Now, as a mother myself, I’m instilling that in my own child. In my home we have a sweet kitty and an adorable doggo, we all care for them, but I spend the most time providing care to them of all the members of the family. Cinder is my dear friend, he turned 12 this year. In all those years, I have taken excellent care of him. Providing vet care and a nutritious diet as well as plenty of love. I’m a military spouse and so moving around hasn’t always been easy for him, we have dealt with behavioral issues from time to time, but we always get through it. I also have a dog named Toffee, she’s a golden doodle who just turned 3. She is the best dog I’ve ever seen. Easy to train and literally the biggest fluffy love bug in the world, haha. She’s amazing with my child too, they are essentially siblings and definitely act like it. I have cared for other animals before them, fur babies that are very much missed and still thought of often. In addition to my own pets, I have cared for animals belonging to friends and family alike. Sometimes taking them to the park, on walks, administering medications, feeding, and of course play time/cuddles. Other significant experience would include my volunteer work at petsmart and other animal shelters, where I clean up after and spend time with the animals. I thoroughly enjoy my time volunteering and find it very rewarding. I believe children and animals are amongst the pure and innocent of heart, and I treat them as such. I will treat your furry family member like one of my own while providing them care, rest assured. <3
