Pet care experience
My name is Izzy and I live in Poulsbo with my Husband, our Son, and our dog Mickey! I have cared for pets my entire life! I retired from the Navy after 21 years in 2022 so my schedule is pretty flexible; plenty of time to hang out with our dog and any guests that we have visiting. We try to spend as much time outside as possible exploring; we hike as much as possible when weather allows and everyone is our care receives daily walks and plenty of play time! North Kitsap Heritage Park is close to us and one of our favorite spots to explore. If you choose us to care for your loved ones, we promise they will be cherished. There are comfy places to lounge in every room and plenty of toys for everyone to share and room for everyone to have fun! We lost our beloved dog Tucker to cancer after 12 years of adventure in August 2021! Both my Husband and I are well versed in administering medication and meeting the individual care needs of your pets. Its important to us that your mind is at ease while you are away...

Cooper had his first visit with Izzy yesterday and it was a success. Cooper is a bit of a momma/daddies boy and typically does take kindly to other people taking his leash and walking away from us. I had some trepidation about how that would go. But Izzy is a professional and it was very no nonsense. The exchange was quick and it was done before Cooper really knew what was happening. That it made it so much easier for me to drive away knowing he wasn't in distress. She sent us several pictures throughout the day to show us that he was fine and having a good time. That made my day so much more enjoyable.
Our dog had the best time and we loved the picture updates while we were gone! We will definitely be using Elizabeth again!
Having just gotten back from two weeks out of the country, I feel so lucky to be able to leave Chloe here— she’s a handful, but she always comes back worn out and so happy. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my little lady unless I had to!
Good communicator and our cat seemed happy and healthy after our 10 day vacation.

We strive to ensure everyone is on the same page, that is why meet and greets are so important! It allows expectations to be laid out by both us and family member and ensures we do everything to easy your worries so that you can enjoy time away from them knowing they are well cared for!
A typical day
Written details with your expectations when you drop your family off are very important. Where does your dog like to sleep? Crate or bed? My bed? Any of these is okay. Is your dog a chewer? Friendly? It is important that you are able to enjoy your time away, sending pictures updates is no problem to put your mind at ease.

We walk our dogs every morning and every afternoon; we are thankful for our location since it gives us access to tons of hikes and plenty of opportunities to get outside. It is important for us to know any quirks your pet(s) may have so we can ensure everyone stays happy and relaxed!
