Will love your dog like our own
Pet care experience
We have owned dogs, large, medium and small for over 36 years and raised them from puppies through adulthood. All of our dogs have been loving, obedient, family dogs. For the first time in our lives we are without a dog and look forward to our experience with Rover helping others know that their dog is being loved and cared for while they are away. We work full time from our home so we are available 24 hours a day. Typically if my wife has to leave the house I am here and visa versa. If we are sitting for your dog we are here, otherwise we would not accept a pet. Our home is located in a neighborhood community called Dommerich Estates. Our home is on the back side the neighborhood, so little to no traffic. Our grassed yard is big, but we typically walk the dogs on sidewalks in our neighborhood and have a large wooded park, accessed via a boardwalk, just a few blocks from our house. The entire neighborhood is very dog friendly.

Awesome
Jonathan and Elizabeth could not have been more hospitable to our high maintenance shih tzu, Phoebe, during our recent vacation! They went above and beyond to help her settle in and feel at home. They sent great updates and pictures and we felt at ease and comfortable that our precious pup was being well cared for. We will definitely use their kind services again.
Elizabeth and Jonathan are the best! We knew Meena was in good hands when she stayed with them. We felt they treated and cared for her as we do. It was nice to be able to go away for the weekend and know Meena was getting great care.
Jon and Elizabeth were excellent caregivers for Finnley! They were great communicators and showed a genuine interest in him and his well-being. He really seemed to enjoy his stay. We definitely plan on using them in the future!

We do not have any breed preferences. We need to know alot about your dog. We want to know what your typical routine is like in detail. Beyond diet, which you will provide the food, when does your dog go out to do his/her business? Does your dog like to walk on a leash? Is your dog socialized? How does your dog get along with other dogs or animals? Does your dog have any fears or likes? I would want all of your emergency information including your regular vet. Please tell me anything you want me to know about your dog.
A typical day
We are always fully engaged with the dogs both mentally and physically. Depending on the age, physical fitness, and experience(trained, not trained, only on a lead, off lead, behavior around other dogs, etc.) we have many daily options. We have a large grass yard, extensive sidewalks partially shaded, a fenced in schoolyard, and a treed park with open spaces and shaded trails all within a couple of minutes from our home. Please bring your dogs favorite toys for inside and outside!
