Veterinary Technician Care
Pet care experience
I was raised on a farm and have been working as a veterinary Technician for 10+ years. I have also shown dogs in obedience since I was 8 yrs old and was very successful in the show ring.
Reviews
Elizabeth is an amazing pet sitter. We have 2 dogs and 2 cats, 2 of which have behavioral quirks. She handles all of them with ease. Even when our youngest pup got hurt being her dorky self she happily used her veterinary technician skills to calmly and proficiently triage my pet until I arrived (I am a veterinarian). All of my kiddos love to see her and she's my go to sitter/ recommendation for those in the Abilene area for in house sitting for all types of critters. Cannot recommend enough.
When I was away for work Elizabeth was a tremendous asset for taking care of my elderly chocolate lab, Chip. I found it was far easier for both Chip and myself to have Elizabeth stay at the house. As someone who frequently needed to leave for multiple days, Elizabeth’s flexibility with my unpredictable schedule and attentiveness to Chip were a blessing. The ability to reach out to Elizabeth and know that Chip would be well cared for and attended to while I was gone gave me peace of mind! Elizabeth’s passion for caring for animals is obvious, I trust her and recommend her 100%!

Safety, trust & environment
I have shown and trained dogs in obedience and I’m not scared of a barking dog that is nervous because the owner is not home. I know how to safely approach a dog and gain it’s trust. I also know what to do if your dog goes off it’s food or gets to stressed because the owner is away. I offer quality service with experience in many different situations from being a vet tech at an animal hospital and working at an emergency clinic.
Information Elizabeth H. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your dog has any special needs or things that you would like for me to do with your dog so I can have a solid game plan before hand.
A typical day
I’m very big on outside time and stimulation in the home. A tired dog both physically and mentally is a perfect dog and one that doesn’t get the opportunity to have anxiety because they miss the owner.

Availability
I work at an animal hospital Monday through Friday. I would be taking care of your loved one before I go to work, during my lunch break and when I get off work, then before I go to bed. Since I work at a animal hospital I only get an hour lunch break and have room for only visit during my lunch break. Because of this I charge $15 for a drop in visit, $26 for morning and evening care, $36 for morning, lunch and evening care. Because I have my own animals to tend to as well, I charge $50 a night to stay at your house.
