Former vet asst., dog/cat lover!
Pet care experience
I have cared for a number of pets in my area, doing walks, drop-ins, feeding, and overnight stays. I am a former (ACC and Castle Pines Vet) vet clinic employee with vet assistant and day care experience. I love dogs and cats, and have two kitties of my own. I am currently a research assistant full time at CU Anschutz but can frequently move around my schedule. I'm always happy to make new furry friends of all shapes and sizes, especially cats! Unfortunately, I cannot have pets stay in my home. I am happy to do overnight care and light housekeeping as well. I am happy to recommend my sister (Erica), who is also available on Rover, if I don’t fit your schedule.
Reviews
Fantastic!!!!
Elizabeth was awesome! This was our first time using the service, she made it super easy!
Elizabth is excellent! My two cats were very well attended to. I would highly recommend her!! We will be using her again on the future.
Elizabeth was awesome! Very professional and flexible. She helped with some unexpected needs while were out of town and was great about keeping us posted on her visits. Really gave us piece of mind.

I make sure the doors and yards are secured at all times. I always make sure to inquire on a dogs particular quirks regarding other dogs and potential to be a “runner”. I also make a point of getting veterinarian info prior to my stay.
Information Elizabeth H. would like to know about your pet
I think it's vital to know a pet's temperament. I would want to know how your pet responds to strangers, children, other dogs, and other animals they may encounter. I want everyone to be safe! I do not have any preference for breeds, I've played with a range from chihuahua to St. Bernard. My only trepidation is with larger dogs that pull or tend to run. Additionally, I am okay with administering medication, as long as the owner shows me how to first.
A typical day
I'm pretty flexible about dog walks, so if there's a nature path or park near your home I'm all for it. If you have any concerns or requests about certain activities I would take them into account. Other activities would be based on the dog /cat and owner preference (i.e. brushing, bathing, play). I'm also fine just hanging around and giving them lots of love.

Availability
I can do weekends and overnight care, with limited midday availability on weekdays. With lots of notice I can accommodate longer stays. Most holidays are available except Christmas.
