Pet care experience
Hi, I'm Liz! I am a 24 year old taking a job transition period with years of dog experience. All my life growing up I have dog sat and dog walked for neighbors. I also had a dog of my own that I trained myself through training classes and on my own for fun. I worked at a pet sanctuary for 4 years, where I volunteered and took care of the dogs and cats staying there. There were dogs boarding there and also sick and injured dogs that I took care of. I walked dogs, cleaned their areas they were living in, fed them, and played with them. I have had dogs and all other kinds of animals my whole life. I am reliable, trustworthy, organized, and a fun person. I will take good care of your pet I promise!

I live in an apartment with a large park right across the street. I have dog sat family friends' dogs here already, and it worked out great! I am easily able to walk dogs with our adequate outdoor spaces and hiking trails. We live in a safe community and always lock our doors. I am big on safety. Doors will always be locked anywhere I go.

Let me know if your dog has any special requests I should attend to, such as medications, things they don't like or do well with (such as encountering other dogs on their walks), or any activities they really enjoy (such as playing with a specific toy). If I will be feeding your dog as well, knowing feeding times and what exactly to give them is important for me to know as well.
A typical day
I love to play and cuddle with the dogs I watch! We will go for long walks to check out all the sniffs around. I like cool nature trails and easy hiking trails as well. I love to play tug of war and throw the ball for dogs as well. I love to snuggle up on the couch as well and give my dogs some pets and scratches.

Availability
I am taking a period of time off between jobs, so I have full availability. I have a flexible schedule, and I am open to any requests. I prefer during the week, but I can be flexible with weekends as well.
