Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Elizabeth and I have always been a huge animal lover. I grew up with two dogs (an Akita and a Samoyed, respectively named Rex and Jade), a cat (Diva), a beta fish(Sammy) and even a snake(also named Sammy, (believe it or not 10 year old me wasn't very creative in the naming department)) and I have 5+ years of private animal care experience. I have previously worked at the New England Aquarium and in a wildlife veterinary clinic. I love dogs, cats and all sorts of critters and know how important exercise and attention is to keep them healthy and relaxed in our homes! I cannot have pets where I currently live, so taking care of other people's pets is the next best thing. When I am with your pets, I will treat them like my own. Elizabeth did great with our shy cat, and was always prompt and reliable. We won't hesitate to book her services next time we are out of town!
Elizabeth was great with our two rescue dogs who both have separation anxiety. She updated us every day, walked and played with them and left our home as clean as we left it. We will definitely be using her again!
Elizabeth did an excellent job in sitting my kitties. She followed my instructions, even when they had to change slightly for a couple of them. My cats warmed up to her quickly! She has a calmness to her work with them. She got down to their level and let them come to her. I think one even prefers her to me after I got back! Thank you again Elizabeth for taking such good care of the girls. I will definitely use her again!
Elizabeth was GREAT! She cared for my 4 Chinese Crested dogs while I went out of town. She gave them their meds. when needed several times a day, took care of their meals, let them out regularly, everything worked out just as if I was here. I would hire her again in a heartbeat. It’s important for me to know the dogs socialization level with people and other animals. It is also important for me to know about any resource guarding, medication and allergies.
A typical day
I love talking dogs for long walks and getting out any excess energy they may have, which will help prevent problem behaviors in the home(tearing up furniture, excessive whining/barking). I also love playing fetch, chase and teaching dogs new tricks!

Availability
I’m currently working Monday-Friday, from 8am-4pm, so I am available before and after those times and on the weekends! I occasionally have some flexibility in my work schedule to accommodate different pet sitting needs.
