We’re a group of 4 roommates who have been using Rover for over 5 years to dog sit and find sitters for our own dog. We’ve hosted tons of different dogs of all sizes, ages, and breeds. As well as dogs with special health and diet needs. Two of us work from home full time, so your dog will never be alone for very long. We also have a fenced in yard and live right next door to Wilson Park, so we go on tons of walks. Our dog, James, is a 3 year old terrier mix who’s super friendly and loves to have company over. Between the 4 of us and James your dog will have lots of attention and love and we can’t wait to meet them.

Elizabeth and her roommates have been our go-to sitter since we moved to Chicago. They are reliable, friendly, flexible, and attentive. This last trip, our flight was severely delayed, and they made accommodations to ensure our pups were OK; we weren’t stressed, and they went out of their way to ensure they supported our evolving schedule. We will continue to use their services for as long as they’ll have us!
Elizabeth has watched our dogs several times when we have been on vacation. She is wonderful with them, and I trust her completely. She is accommodating to my schedule, has an option to pick-up/drop-off, and is constantly communicating. Your dogs are in great hands with her! We will be continuing to use her services in the future when we go on vacation.
Elizabeth is communicative and so reliable in looking after my pup. She provides updates and my dog always seems to have had a blast when she stays with Elizabeth!
Elizabeth always does an amazing job. She’s been watching my dog for years and is always reliable and easy to setup times for drop-off and pick-up.

We have a fenced in yard so dogs have a space to go outside to explore/play multiple times a day. Because we have a dog, our house is already dog friendly and safe. It’s very rare that at least one of us isn’t home, so there is always someone keeping an eye on the dogs. We’re happy to send photos and keep you updated while your pets are with us.

A typical day
We take lots of walks through the park, dog park, and nature preserve, which are all within a mile of us. James likes to play tug of war and fetch.

Availability
Because there are 4 of us, someone is almost always home for pick up and drop off. We typically go on walks about twice a day and let the dogs out in the yard every two hours or so.
