I grew up in a house with two big energetic dogs and a cat. I've been catsitting for family members for a few years, and I've been doing it professionally since 2023. I'm also comfortable around rabbits, rodents, lizards, and other small/exotic animals.

Betsy has helped care for dogs and cats for at least 10 years. She's best with cats and smaller dogs (under 50-75lbs), is a terrific cuddle buddy, and has even done some dog grooming.
Elizabeth has cared for our dog and our home on several occasions. When we get back, the dog is happy, the house is tidy, and everything has been taken care of. What else can you ask for?! She clearly loves pets. We are very happy with her and will use her again.

At the moment I cannot have other pets in my home, because I live with a dog who does not get along with unfamiliar animals. However I am happy to housesit. I will always lock doors when I am coming and going, I always clean up after myself and I will follow and house rules you set.

It is important to note that I have back problems and as a result I do not have much upper body strength, so at the moment I am only comfortable taking large dogs (70 pounds or more) if they are generally calm and will not drag me behind them on walks. Also please let me know if your dog is very vocal, as I can have sound sensitivity issues.
A typical day
I enjoy taking dogs on long walks and exploring. We can play fetch and run around or we can snuggle on the couch and watch TV, whatever they prefer.

Availability
My schedule is very flexible. I am free to stay overnight if that is needed. For day work I generally prefer afternoon/evening rather than early morning.
