Hello! Thank you for considering me to care for you dog while you are away. I am a young professional living in Washington DC that would love to get my dog-fix walking or watching your pup! I absolutely love dogs. I have had dogs of all sizing growing up, from Boxers to Papillions, and fostered a variety of breeds of puppies during college. My dog, Coco, (pictured) is a Silky Terrier. Sadly, Coco is not a city-dog and lives with her grandmother in Arizona. Dogs staying with me will enjoy a longer walk or run each day in addition to at least four potty breaks. I am an active runner and particularly enjoy Meridian Hill Park and Rock Creek’s many trails. I live in an apartment, but it is on the first floor and right next to a large courtyard and park that makes it a great spot to host dogs. At night, you will find me relaxing reading or watching TV and I love to have dogs with me on the sofa. I have been watching friends’ and co-worker’s dogs at my apartment for the last year. I have also house sat for a Great Dane for the last year. I prefer to host dogs who are crate trained; however, I will still host dogs who are not crate trained but house broke. Friday-Sunday, I am also available to house sit if you would prefer me to come to your home. I am very responsible, neat and clean and will provide the same long walk/run and multiple potty breaks that would I hosted at my own home. I will also follow all of your instructions and preference to a tee. After work and during the weekends I would be happy to take your dog for a walk or check in on them at your home. To provide you with a little background about me, I have lived in Washington DC for two year. I graduated from Clemson University (Go Tigers!) in 2016. I grew up in a military family so have gotten to live all around the United States. In my spare time, I enjoy running, cooking, watching TV and spending time with my friends. I look forward to someday soon having my own dog in DC, but in the meantime, I love spending time with the dogs I get to take care of.
