Compassionate, Fun Sitter!

Pet care experience

I’ve worked the full spectrum of canine care––so much so that if I had to think of an image to reflect my experiences and feelings about dogs, it’d be rainbows––different colors that come together in perfect harmony. I have worked at dog care facilities, pet stores, the holistic dog food industry (pet nutrition), a groomer, and worked as a vet assistant, among other volunteer organizations and shelters. In some way or another, I’ve experienced the rainbow of animal care, particularly dog health. I also care for cats and reptiles––an equestrienne of all things animal. Needless to say I feel extremely competent in my abilities to care for most living creatures. Yes, I’ve worked with many different animals. I own a large breed snake. I volunteered and worked at Phoenix Herpetelogical Society. I’ve also had cats and worked with birds of prey and arachnids. I love all walks of life, even within the animal kingdom–– they are all important and essential to life on this planet. I’m not breed specific. I have huge soft spot for large breeds like Great Danes, Newfoundlands, Saint Bernards, etc. because I grew up around large breed dogs from Boxers to Labradors. I fell in love with all creatures and especially ones that I felt were misunderstood. Every animal has a personality and persona to offer and they typically reflect the love and admiration of their parent. They are receptive to our emotions and lifestyles. Dogs are special to me and how they provide undeniable love. I also have fostered special need rescues and generally rehabilitate them to being adoptable. I have understanding and capability to connect with every animal on some level. I also am educated on holistic ways to ease anxiety and nervousness in dogs. I strive for peace and balance. My schedule is super flexible. I work very part-time as a gymnastics coach, and the longest I’ll be away at any given time will be four hours, at most. I’m available the rest of the day. Another side gig is as a holistic dog food representative, but these are light hours, again four hours maximum. As you can see, I like to stay active, both in body and mind, and I am proactive and organized. I’m very much looking forward to running/ walking your dog if your pup is up for some cardio. On top of my experience with animals, I’m equally capable working with people and will do my best to offer you peace of mind while your pup is under my care. I have a great affinity for the wellbeing of our canine friends and developing a healthy relationship with them and their human counterparts.

I think Liz needs a poet to write her a reference because it is not an easy task to share with the world the level of love she has for animals. If you've ever known that person who was the quintessential "animal lover" than you know Liz. She's worked and lived with animals of all shapes, sizes, and species and shows immense passion for making sure they are safe, happy, and healthy. Also, she is just about one of the nicest people you'll meet in general and I'm sure you'll know that from the moment you speak with her. If you're looking for a kind soul who has a genuine love for people and animals, and has the skills, training, and experience to make sure you pet is well cared for, then look no further than Liz.

Liz has a love for animals that is unmatched as far as I can tell. She's absolutely great with any pets, and I've seen her be a fantastic dog walker and dog sitter. Disciplined but incredibly friendly as well

Information Elizabeth G. would like to know about your pet

I will provide constant updates. Whether it is daily photos of canine or just general communication on daily basis, based on the frequency you’d like. I know how odd it can seem to leave your beloved pet with a total stranger, so I’ll do everything I can to ease your anxiety and stress. Meet and greets are fantastic for establishing a relationship with your pup while you’re close by and I can ask all the necessary questions to ensure your pup’s health, safety, and happiness. The more information I have, the better care I can provide. I’m really looking forward to spending real, genuine time with your unique and special animal––angels on earth.

A typical day

If you’d like me to walk your dog, I try not to take animals outside a three-mile radius from their home––I want to keep some semblance of normalcy and routine. I will take them hiking if approved by you. Most of the time we can just stay in the vicinity of your home to keep a consistent environment and no risk problems with travel. I’m actually am an avid hiker––my previous job was a backpacking tour guide at the Grand Canyon. So I am extremely capable and happy to have a hiking buddy or long meandering walks. After an active day, nothing is better than snuggling up on the couch with a good movie and delicious meal. I can’t wait to meet your pup!
