Pet care experience
I have over 20 years experience working in the animal care industry. I was a vet tech at a 5 doctor small animal practice up in Pennsylvania for 4 years. However my heart was in animal sheltering where I spent a total of 8 years. I grew up riding horses and pet sitting for the neighborhood. At 13 I was hired on at large horse boarding facility. In doing that I got connections for farm sitting small family farms. I’m comfortable with a wide range of livestock and farm animals. I am also comfortable with dogs or cats who may be difficult or have behavioral issues.

Nice sweet lady
Elizabeth has house sat for us for the past several years, and we couldn’t ask for anyone better! We have a zoo at our house, including reptiles, dogs, cats, horses, pigs, and other farm animals. I never have to worry about our animals while we’re gone. She is very attentive and a great communicator, checking in at least once a day to let us know all is well. If you’re looking for a pet sitter of any kind, she’s your girl! I can’t recommend her enough.
Elizabeth "Lizzie", is a God send. Our pack almost always has a member who's nervous around strangers and even a little aggressive. That all melts away when Lizzie shows up. She could tame a lion (I really think she could). She is gentle but firm, standing her ground and giving the dog time and space to adjust. But every single time, they become her new best friend. I have seen it happen twice now, and I am still amazed by it. She is an animal lover, whom is loved by every animal.

I have a fully fenced yard, but can also take leash walks for exercise and exploration. I have one dog and 3 cats in the home. Everyone is friendly but if accommodations need to be made my pets are flexible. Obi is crated when I am at work and I have extra crates on hand if they are ever needed! I am trustworthy and will treat your pets and home as I would my own.

I’m happy to work with any dog. Advance notice on any behavioral issues is appreciated but is not an obstacle. I have vast experience working with dogs with all different personalities.
A typical day
I have a large back yard that is fully fenced! We also have a variety of toys from ropes to balls to fluffy squeakers. Summertime includes a kiddie pool to cool off in. Treats are liberal as long as they fit in dietary needs.

Availability
I work a full time job and have mornings free since I work swing shift. I’m also available for late night check ins as well. When boarded in my home I can come home on my lunch break for walks!
