As a lifelong lover of every creature, I have looked after cats and dogs throughout my life, including my own animal companions, my dog, Ginger and cat, Lorelle, who spent their lives with me. I have professional and fostering experience and enjoy caring for the animal companions of friends and family while they are away. I love animals and since I don’t currently have any of my own, spending time with and caring for yours is the next best thing! I am also a plant lover and can provide care for your indoor and outdoor leafy friends while you are away. You will come home to happy plants and animals and a home that’s cleaner than you left it!

Let me know what time they prefer to eat, sleep, go for walks, what their favourite toys and games are, or any other details that will help them feel safe and happy while you are away.

Please let me know ahead of time if your animal has any special needs or behaviours. I love large dogs but am small myself and may struggle to keep control on walks if the have a tendency to pull the leash.
A typical day
I love going for nature walks and enjoy them even more when I have a furry friend to join me. Dogs will get one long walk a day, or a few short ones if preferred. Both cats and dogs will get plenty of cuddles and play time and I will of course follow your instructions to meet their nutritional and medicinal needs. I want to provide the care that suites each individual, so let me know if there’s anything else not mentioned here so I can accommodate them. If you have a garden or outdoor plants I will water them daily or as needed. Indoor plants are checked once or twice a week. I provide you with daily updates that include photos and videos, typically twice a day; in early afternoon and again in the evening with a care checklist catered to the needs of your furry family members.

Availability
Most of my days are pretty flexible, with lots of available time to spend making sure your animals are well cared for, although I do leave the house for a few hours a day when pet sitting.
