The Deaf Dog Whisperer
Pet care experience
I am Deaf and rely on ASL to communicate. I am an expert at reading body language both in people & animals. I've grown up with many different animals, mostly dogs. I had my own dog starting at age 8. I've taken care of dogs personally and professionally since then. I'd go dogsit neighbors' dogs at their houses and have family/friends' dogs at my house. I walked dogs for two years before COVID happened. I am a work-at-home mom with three kids (9 years old to an infant) and two pups. I am available on weekdays, weekends, days & nights! We are huge pet lovers here. I have three kids to keep your pets stimulated and busy. I also have a fenced yard and a two-story house. We also live close to a dog park if you've taken your dogs to a dog park and are comfortable with me doing so. I have two dogs to play with your dogs. We enjoy going on walks early in the morning and after dinner, so we will bring your dog along!
Reviews
Elizabeth is very friendly. My dog loved her. She was on time and did extra. Definitely recommend Elizabeth.
Elizabeth did such a wonderful job taking care of our pup this past weekend while we were away for my birthday. Our pup Nala hasn’t been to a sitter 6 months, and was having a hard time adjusting to being in a new environment away from us, but Elizabeth reassured us that she was being showered with love and that gave us tons of peace of mind! She sent lots of photos throughout the duration of Nala’s stay who grew very close to Elizabeth and found a great sense of comfort in her! We’re grateful to Elizabeth for deeply caring for our pup and keeping us in the loop, and would recommend her to anyone we know! Thanks again!
Elizabeth is THE BEST! Woody gets lots of attention and exercise while he’s with her and he’s always pooped when he comes home so I know he’s not just waiting around for me to come back. She’s my go-to sitter and I can recommend her without hesitation!
She is amazing! Words don’t covert how wonderful she is with my Maximus. We are very blessed to have her in our Lives!

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced backyard, baby gates throughout the house, a storm door on the front door, several crates (medium & large), and a quiet & safe room upstairs if your pup needs some space. I have a lot of dog toys all around the house, blankets, treats, outdoor activities, etc to help your pup feel safe and comfortable here. I care for many anxious & nervous dogs, so I am well aware of their body language and know exactly what it is they need. If you ask my previous clients, they'd tell you that their anxious dogs warm up to me pretty quickly!

Information Elizabeth E. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know of ANY habits they may have. Whether they had bitten someone before. Food, dog, and/or human aggression? Do they have special needs, medications, a strict routine due to anxiety, etc? Do they have a tendency to run away? Any allergies? Fully potty-trained or would they occasionally have accidents? Do they have a tendency to mark in the house? If this is your first time, be aware that your dog might behave differently at my house without you around and not being in their usual environment. So, it is important for me to know things about your pup, so I will be aware of what to watch out for. Thank you!
A typical day
I allow dogs to explore my house, yard, and dog park nearby and go on walks. My kids and I love to stimulate them mentally and physically until they're tired and happy! We love to go to the dog park, play with the walk and run up and down our stairs when it's too hot outside. We enjoy going on walks while the kids ride their bikes early in the mornings and after dinner, so we will bring your dog along! We often like to catch the Arizona sunsets.

Availability
I work from home, so my schedule is flexible. I will adjust my schedule to fit your pup's routine! Either my partner, Alex, and I or both are always home so the dogs are almost never on their own. I can bring my work with me wherever the dogs are, inside & outside.
