Lifelong Dog and Cat Lover
Pet care experience
I have been around dogs and cats my whole life. Most recently, I regularly care for my sister's 60 lb senior, special needs dog during the week. This has made me realize how much I love caring for pets, especially those who need a little extra TLC! I've also regularly cared for my friend's 3 cats (of all different ages), tending to their specific needs for play and rest when I visit. I love meeting new animals and discovering their unique personalities and can't wait to meet yours!
Reviews
Lizzy is a fantastic pet sitter. She took wonderful care of our two dachshunds when we were away for the weekend. She bonded with them right away at the meet and greet and even brought over a T-shirt so our rescue dog could get used to her scent the week before she was coming over the care for them. Lizzy was prompt, professional, and super-organized about all the details--from feeding and potty breaks to cuddle time. She provided detailed updates and photos from each of her visits. We would highly recommend Lizzy and will absolutely hire her the next time we need a sitter for our fur babies.
Elizabeth is magnificent. Oliver is high energy and she does such a great job with him. Elizabeth has prompt turn around time with communication. Highly recommend!
We are fortunate to have found Elizabeth to care for our Chihuahua baby when we're away. She's the best! Elizabeth is reliable, thoughtful, kind, patient, and truly cares. 5 STARS!!!!
Elizabeth did a great job with our two new kittens! This was our first time using Rover and she made the process super simple and easy. Will definitely be contacting her again the next time we need a sitter.

Information Elizabeth E. would like to know about your pet
Every family has different needs and expectations, which is why I always request a meet and greet to go over your pet's routine. I have a form I'll fill out with you in person to go over things like vet info, medical conditions, feeding/bathroom schedule, etc. As a sitter, I want to make sure that there are as few disruptions to your pet's routine as possible. This also gives us a chance to make sure that I'll get along with them while the pet parents are around. The biggest thing I want to know ahead of that meet and greet is your pet's general temperament. This way I know how to approach them when I first enter your home. I love any and all breeds! As a pitbull lover, I know "aggressive breeds" don't exist and all deserve a chance to get snuggles. As long as I can have a meet and greet and your dog knows commands like "no," "kennel," or is generally well behaved and friendly, I'm willing to care for them. For cats, I respect that some like to keep their distance or take longer to warm up to new people. I have plenty of patience for the shy ones.
A typical day
Every client has different needs so I'm flexible, but in general this is what you can expect for the services that I offer. FOR WALKS: Straightforward, I will walk your dog for half an hour wherever you'd like. If they also need feeding, I'm happy to do that and shorten the walk by a few minutes so they have time to eat. FOR DROP INS: After handling the basics (feeding, bathroom breaks, medication, etc) I can give your pet whatever attention they prefer during the rest of my time. Whether you have a hyper dog that needs some high intensity chasing in the yard, a cat that likes to snuggle in my lap, or a couch-bound pup that likes some lay down tug-of-war, I'm ready to play! FOR HOUSE SITTINGS: I'll be accepting other jobs on days that I house sit, but I will prioritize your pet and be sure to be around when they need to eat, be walked, or go to the bathroom. I can do as little as a few drop ins throughout the day, or as much as staying at your house overnight. We'll go over your needs and my availability during the meet and greet to figure out the best schedule for the stay. I include two short walks (10-15 minutes) with each house sitting if you'd like. I'll treat your home as my own, pulling in mail and newspapers, taking out trash/recycling, watering house plants, and whatever other tasks you need done while you're away.
