Your pets will be treated like family while with me! I grew up with many animals and lots of dogs. I have proudly raised two pups on my own. Your pets will receive constant attention and love while under my care. I am very fond of senior dogs and I am very conscientious of any extra care or needs they have. Keeping in mind the current concerns surrounding COVID, I will be taking special precautions and keeping social distancing and extra sanitation efforts in mind. Contactless pick-up and drop-off can be arranged. I am happy to bring my own leash and I will be wearing gloves and mask. I will happily sanitize any surfaces and door knobs etc. Since I was a kid watching Steve Irwin on Animal Planet, I have wanted to work with animals and spent countless hours researching dog behavior, body language, pack mentality and communication. When training, I use positive reinforcement for good behaviors, and redirection for negative behaviors. I share my home with a Senior cat that seldom leaves my room as she perched on the back of my chair. She spent most of her life thinking she was a dog and may be shy and act like a ninja spy observing any changes in the house. I also have twin 8 year old children who are amazing and respectful of animals and understand each animal may have individual needs and they may not always be open to an excess of attention or playtime.
