I grew up with animals out on Vashon. I helped raise puppies and cared for our elderly loved ones. I've been in New York for the past 12 years and am happy that my husband, 9 month old son and pup have finally moved back to Seattle. We moved this past October and I'm attempting to rebuild my Pilates business in Seattle. I'm looking to supplement my income as a Pilates Instructor. I'm a lover of all animals and most people (LOL). I'd love to take care of your furry family members while you are out. I can offer social walks with our 4 year old Australian Cattle Dog mix or private doggy walks. Our pup Lahey is still young at heart but very well trained. I can also help train your pups if they need leash reinforcing or I can let them out on a long leash while still keeping them safe. You dictate the type of walk and the amount of freedom your pup gets.

When Beth lived in NYC she would watch my dog Mable all the time. Having a dog herself, you can see the love and excitement in her eyes every time she sees a pup. She has a way with animals, and has the patience to teach "old dogs" new tricks. I'd like to know the training level of your dog before we go out. Does your dog have an undying desire to chase squirrels? It's good to know the little things about the pup so I know what to expect. For example Lahey doesn't like skateboards and scooters. When I see a skateboard approaching I have her sit down and wait for it to pass this way she doesn't lurch toward the individual and she gets used to the noise with out distraction. Anything like this you do with your pup will be useful when I'm out with your furry family member.
A typical day
I love walking down to the water or up the Seattle hills to look at the mountains. I'm loving being back in the amazing Northwest (those Northeast mountains just didn't do it for me). If your dog likes to play fetch we can do that too. I also have a hula hoop that Lahey jumps through... would your dog enjoy something like this? If yes we could visit our backyard for a jumping session.
