Pet care experience

I’ve had pets in my life since I was a baby. I’ve let family and friends dogs out while they are on vacation. I’ve had my own dog named Banjo for about 6 years now and he loves friends. My fiancé grew up in a cat household and has fallen in love with doggies since living together. This will be a new journey for us but we have a lot of love and kindness to give to others. I have been a nurse for 10 years.

Louis was well taken care of and had a great time! Lots of updates and pictures while we were away☺️. Will definitely book again and have told friends about Liz!

Liz did a great job with our bulldog while we were out of town. Our pup actually had a health scare (because bulldogs are walking health problems) while we were gone and with Liz's communication, we were kept in the loop every step of the process. The whole situation was handled very professionally and we can't speak highly enough of the job Liz did. Your fur baby is in good hands with these great hosts!

Safety, trust & environment

I have a 9 year old boxer named Banjo. He’s really lazy and loves everybody. Except cats. But he’s really only experienced them one time so who knows. He’s lived with other dogs that were chihuahuas and let them crawl all over him. He shares his toys and treats. We require a kennel and will kennel dogs if we are going somewhere or just not able to be watching them 100% like bringing in groceries or something. They will go out every couple of hours or whenever they seem like they need to go. Feeding will be on your schedule. I feel comfortable with special needs doggos as I am a nurse and Banjo is a special needs dog himself. No matter what they will be cared for in the best way and we will keep them safe and hopefully happy. They will find a true friend in Banjo.

Information Elizabeth D. would like to know about your pet

Let me know what you need for your pup beforehand so I can make room for a kennel and stuff. I’d hope your doggo is not a bully as my dog just likes to chill. He makes friends pretty quickly though so that helps. Let me know any medical concerns or treatments and I’d be willing to help out with that stuff. I’m a nurse so I’m ok with giving meds.

A typical day

We like to get up and go outside. Then come inside for some water and I fill up the food bowl. Chill on the couch for a while or sleep. Go outside for a bit and come back in for more chilling. Supper and outside and more chilling. I have a fenced backyard so if exercise is needed they can run around. Banjo doesn’t like the heat or being outside in general so he’s not out there to play with for very long. If I leave Banjo goes in his kennel.

I work overnights so I’m home all day. Corey works from home so he’s home all day and all night. We have Banjo to keep each other entertained. We will require a kennel as we kennel Banjo if we are to go anywhere at all. Otherwise we constantly know where the dogs are and rarely let them out of our sight. We have a fenced in backyard and lots of squeaky toys. I’m sure Banjo would share a spot on his couch and we would baby your baby.
