Lifelong Dog Caretaker

Pet care experience

Hi, I'm Elizabeth! I've been pet-sitting professionally for one year on Rover, and I've been helping care for my family's pets since I was five years old. My family has owned dogs since I was born. I've fed, walked, and cared for many breeds of dogs over the years, such as German Shepherd, chow chow, Jack Russel terrier, Chihuahua, and more. My family adopted some as puppies and some as adults, so I'm used to most temperaments. I'm always the person that friends call on to watch their pets while they're on vacation. I love playing with dogs, so you can be assured your pet is in good hands!

Elizabeth is someone I trust with my older dog, and that means a lot. She’s very caring and communicative. Overall I would not hesitate to recommend her or book again if she’s available.

Elizabeth is the first person I’ve ever used that wasn’t friends/family to watch my very anxious dog and she did an amazing job! She was in regular communication with me by updating about how my dog was doing and sending photos. Before booking she asks a lot of questions about the pet so she can accommodate accordingly and make sure your fur baby is as well taken care of as possible. I will most definitely be using her again!

Information Elizabeth C. would like to know about your pet

I don't accept animals who are not housebroken, and this includes animals who use pee pads. I don't accept unneutered or unspayed animals. I would like to know if your dog has any behavioral or medical issues. Please inform me if your dog bites, tugs at the leash, or has a pre-existing vendetta against skateboarders, squirrels, or other common villains. Please inform me if your dog has any medical issues. I prefer calm dogs that get along well with other animals. I can soothe nervous or excitable dogs, within reason. I can comfortably handle dogs that pull or lunge up to about 70lbs.

A typical day

We'll go for walks around the neighborhood, and sometimes to the dog park if the owner approves. We can play tug of war and fetch at home. If you give me a list of commands the dog knows, I will practice with them.
