Doggy Peace & Love!

Pet care experience

My family got my first dog when I was five years old, and I’ve had dogs ever since. I currently have two small rescue dogs, which are the loves of my life, and I’ve fostered several dogs until they found their forever homes. My dogs and I have made multiple trips to Camp Unleashed, where you can spend a long weekend outdoors with other dogs and their owners (everyone off-leash!), so I’m familiar with how dogs socialize and how to manage dogs in different, dynamic situations. I’ve also taken courses in first-aid and CPR, and I’m experienced in dog obedience and agility training, which means I may be able to teach your dog a new trick or two during our time together. Plus, I love playing with dogs--the sweet smell of puppy breath is an added bonus! Those who know me would say I’m funny, caring, and athletic. My dogs and I love to hike and kayak (with a life jacket, of course). We go out for charity walks as often as we can, and we hit the dog park daily to practice good social skills. I’m excited to turn my love for dogs into a part-time passion and profession that allows me to spend time with animals and apply my talents and experience toward helping others. I look forward to meeting new dog clients and their owners, and I’m grateful to have such a great company behind me, helping me succeed in great customer service.

Top-notch job by a true animal lover. She sent me pictures and comments each day and that was extremely comforting. I recommend Elizabeth highly, I am a very satisfied client.

Emma came back from her few day stay COVERED in fleas. My dog is an inside dog, with longer hair, and she said she just left her outside most of the time. Just by holding her for a few minutes I could see fleas all over her, so it makes me feel like she was heavily neglected that this sitter didn't even notice she had them. I do not recommend.

Information Elizabeth C. would like to know about your pet

Before our first pet-sitting arrangement, I’ll be in touch to learn about you and your dog--what you like to do together, your daily routines and preferences, how your dog likes to play and exercise, and any other special requests you might have--so I can offer the best possible care for your dog. When we meet for the first time, you can count on me to be on time and to greet you and your dog as new friends. My goal is to establish a trustworthy and reliable relationship and let your pet know she can count on me for a good time, great care, and plenty of affection.

A typical day

I’ll tailor our activities to your dog’s energy level, sociability, and age. We might go for a nice long walk on your usual route or try a new path and check out new smells and sights. We might head to the dog park if your dog plays well with others and enjoys a little time with the pack. But if your dog is more of a homebody, we’ll be sure to get in a little movement and exertion by playing with his favorite toys. I’m willing to get down on the floor with dogs, throw the ball for hours, or just let them lick my face. So, you can count on some cuddle time as well. In other words, I’m experienced connecting with and entertaining dogs of varied personalities and stages of life. We’ll have a great time, tailored to your dog, and you’ll receive updates with each visit.
