I am a big fan of all dogs young and old, but have a special spot in my heart for senior dogs after my 17-year-old husky mix died last year after a five-year run with lymphoma. I have over 15 years of experience owning dogs, caring for others' pets, and fostering dogs from local shelters (plus an additional 20 years living with a variety of family dogs and pets as a kid). I will work with you to determine what is the best schedule and sitting arrangement to meet your dog's needs and keep them happy and healthy while you are away! I'm very responsible, communicative, and will send plenty of photos of your little guy if you like. I am happy to administer medicine and will always reinforce good habits through positive training. I work during the day away from home, so I request that any dogs who stay with me on weekdays be housetrained and comfortable at home on their own. I can provide a variety of toys and treat puzzles for entertainment and arrange mid-day dog-walking/pee breaks if needed for an extra charge. Weekends, I love nothing more than spending lots of quality time with the dogs, be it long walks or short runs, hikes, or quiet time for snuggles at home. We have a fenced backyard at home. I have limited availability for dog-walking and home visits during the week, but may be able to fill in on a sporadic or infrequent basis in Belltown. Email me for more information.
