Rescue Foster Offering Boarding!

Pet care experience

I grew up with dogs, but didn't get my own until I was in my 30's. My Chica is a rescue from JRs, and my experience with her has been wonderful. I started volunteering for the rescue soon after I adopted her in 2014. I do adopter approval home visits, help with new animal intake, and help with events. In 2016, I began fostering, and have had 35+ dogs adopted from my care. Nearly all have had special needs - feral, afraid of everything, puppy mill releases, hoarder situations, abused or neglected, going through heartworm treatment, recovering from major injuries, etc. My experience with fostering has given me a lot of great skills and understanding - and I'd like to use what I've learned to earn some extra income and help others know that their dogs are in great care at my home. I adopted a 2nd dog in 2019 - Lola was foster #14 - a rescue alumni abandoned by her owner after 8 years. My girls are both seniors now, and spoiled rotten! I do work full time, and crate or gate guest dogs while I'm away, just to keep everyone safe. A neighbor is available for mid-day potty breaks if they are needed. My home is a clean, calm, quiet, and simple environment. Dogs do well in my home because they can easily figure out the routine, allowing them to quickly be confident in their surroundings.

Elizabeth was really nice and so caring. My dog really enjoyed his stay with her. She was very good with communication and in providing updates. I highly recommend her and will use in future whenever needed. Thank you so much.

To pet owners, our pets aren't just property. They're family. And leaving family to be cared for by someone else takes a lot of faith in that person to care for your family how you want them cared for. You want that person to be Elizabeth. She opens her heart when she opens her door. Your pups will be family to her while your gone. She has a way of making every pup feel comfortable and happy. I know that with Elizabeth in charge, I have nothing to worry about and I can enjoy my time away. When I come home, they're all happy and playing and I doubt they even noticed my absence! I will not hesitate to call on Elizabeth to care for my family, and you shouldn't either!
