I have had dogs through my entire life. I joined Rover in order to fill the void that has been left in my heart since moving away from home and no longer having a pup of my own to care for. I can take care of most any pup including troubled shelter dogs since most of our dogs growing up were rescues. I can handle food aggressive, territorial, and dogs with separation anxiety. I also love having high energy dogs since I love to go on runs with high energy pups. Please note that I live in an apartment and have a male partner so this may be a limiting factor for some dogs. I will not put myself, my loved ones, or any pup in any danger and will not accommodate overly aggressive animals. That being said, I will do my best to make sure your pup is well cared for and has lots of playtime and attention while you are away! As a side note, I also love cats and would be happy to board any cats and will also ensure that they get all the love, attention, and playtime that they need! I am currently working full time but am only about 5 mins away from home and will stop by to give potty breaks during my lunch break. I would prefer a dog that can be alone for 4 hours at a time. My partner occasionally works from home and he will give them all of the love and care while he is home during my working hours! Please note that if you plan to drop off on a weekday (M-F) my drop off time for the morning is between 5am and 5:30am and afternoons drop off is after 3pm since I work from 6am to 3pm. I give a minimum of a 30 minute walk on a daily basis for all dogs that I board (unless they cannot handle this long of a walk). I also love having one dedicated play time session a day in order to distract the pups from missing their owners! I am flexible and can add in any additional routines or needs for any pup if specified.
