Pet care experience
Hi! I have been called an Animal Whisperer of sorts. I have energy to play and listen, I have the ability to be a pack leader. I have the leadership to make animals do what is asked because they want to. As a teacher of all ages and a homeowner in NW Denver, I chose animals as my family. My companions are Shiloh - a male Border Collie and champion herder(4), Riley, a female miniature Schnauzer, Pearl, a live in Modern Bantam chicken (4), 3 backyard chickens Red, Fortuna, and Sissy (2-3), 2 wonderful cats - Seven, a Maine Coon and Coco, my new arrival, a kitten I saved from being flushed down a toilet! Why am I introducing my pets? Well, because they are my life and I will treat your animal as I treat my own!
Reviews
In the 20+ years I have known Elizabeth she has had 2 dogs, 3 cats and multiple chickens. She will make a great pet sitter.
I am a freelance pet-sitter, and first met ERB when I took care of her pets during a vacation she took to visit relatives. Since then, we have become friends and she would frequently host me and dogs left in my charge on wilderness expeditions which my various client dogs enjoyed with her dogs and us. She has cats and chickens too, and she is a fanatic about making sure they're all well cared for, sometimes shortchanging her own best interests.
Elizabeth is such a caring person, she loves her animals so much. She is very kind, considerate, intelligent and just an all around good person. She loves animals and cares deeply for them

Skills
Information Elizabeth B. would like to know about your pet
Is your dog aggressive? Does he/she bolt? How much training has your dog had and by whom? If by you, were you trained or did you learn by owning many dogs? What would you really like out of your dogs relationship with you? What are you proud of and what traits/behaviors would you rather get rid of? We all love to talk about our dogs - I'm here to listen! I am not a licensed professional animal trainer. I learned from experience - the more you tell me, the more you and your dog will gain from our walks!
A typical day
Although a strong upper hand is necessary, I can also become a complete goof ball, play rough to a point, teach soft mouth to the demonstrative ones, especially around smaller dogs and to honor their toys, which after all, cost a fortune! I usually go the Rocky Mountain Park on 44th where in the early evenings and up to 10 pm I let dogs off leash to run and play with the toys I bring. I also take dogs that need more training to the park on 44th and Pecos, there are more people in this park and a leash and respecting ones appearance is more important. Although I do not believe in leashes, I would never take your dog off leash without permission. I am up to new places, so if you have a favorite, or have commands you wish me to instill - just tell me!
