One of our own during their stay!!

Pet care experience

When it comes to pet care, I stand out from the rest in the area for numerous reasons. First and foremost, your beloved pet will be treated as a cherished member of our family during their stay with us. With a lifelong passion for dogs, I have been caring for these furry companions since I was just 10 years old. From energetic Corgis to playful Pit Bulls, from gentle Golden Retrievers to lovable Saint Bernards, I have experience with a wide range of breeds and temperaments. What truly sets me apart is my patience with all dogs, ensuring that your pet receives not only love and attention but also the grace they deserve. Rain or shine, daily walks are a staple in our routine, and I take great delight in strolling through the rain with a furry friend by my side. With my dedicated care, expertise in training, and unwavering commitment to providing a nurturing environment, I am the ideal choice for ensuring your pet's happiness, safety, and well-being.

Elizabeth and her family took such good care of our dog for the day. They provided a wonderful home with spacious backyard for him to run around with their golden retrievers, AND took him hiking in the snow (which our dog loves). We really appreciated Elizabeth accepting our booking request with pretty short notice as well. We definitely recommend Elizabeth!

Safety, trust & environment

Although I currently do not have a fenced-in yard, the safety and well-being of your pet are of utmost importance to us. To ensure their security, the back door will remain locked during their stay, and all entrances and exits will be conducted through the garage, where a leash will be securely attached to your dog. Unless specified otherwise, your pet will become just part of our family, granting them the freedom to roam certain areas of the house. Our couches and chairs are open for their lounging pleasure, creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. To maintain a harmonious feeding routine, your pet will be provided separate mealtimes, distinct from our own animals and children. Rest assured that while under our care, your beloved pet will receive individualized attention, an inviting environment, and the utmost consideration for their comfort and safety.

Information Elizabeth A. would like to know about your pet

Let me know the following information ahead of time when providing boarding for a dog: Firstly, it's crucial to understand the dog's breed, age, and size as this can give insights into their specific needs, energy levels, and exercise requirements. Additionally, any existing medical conditions or allergies should be communicated to ensure proper care and medication administration. Knowledge of the dog's temperament, including their behavior around other dogs and humans, is vital to maintain a safe and comfortable environment for everyone involved. Thirdly, Information about the dog's routine, such as their feeding schedule, exercise preferences, and any specific training commands they respond to, helps in providing a consistent and stress-free experience during their stay. Finally, it is essential to be aware of any anxieties or fears the dog may have, whether it's related to thunderstorms, separation anxiety, or noise sensitivity, in order to offer appropriate reassurance and comfort throughout their time in boarding. By gathering these key details, I can ensure that the dog's boarding experience is tailored to their unique needs, ensuring their happiness, health, and well-being.

A typical day

A typical day as a dog watcher begins with the excitement of greeting my furry friends. After making sure they are comfortable and settled, we venture out into our neighborhood, which is a haven for long and safe walks. While I avoid taking the dogs to dog parks, there are plenty of other stimulating places to explore. We might stroll along tree-lined streets, taking in the sights and sounds of nature, or perhaps we'll wander through a nearby trail, where the dogs can enjoy the scents and freedom of an open space. In the morning, we embark on a shorter walk, followed by a well-deserved meal if needed. In the afternoon, rain or shine, we embark on a longer adventure, relishing in the joy of exploring new routes and encountering friendly neighbors along the way. Before bedtime, a final short walk ensures that our furry companions are relieved and ready to settle down for a restful night. With each walk, my aim is to provide the dogs with a balance of exercise, mental stimulation, and an opportunity to experience the wonders of the outdoors.
