Pet care experience
I have over 30 years experience taking care of my own pets and for family, friends, and clients. I love hiking with dogs, training them, playing with them and just loving them.

Marci had a great time with Liz for a long week while we were out of town. They got along great and Marci was happy and well-cared-for. Liz also took great care of the house while we were gone. I'd love to have her come back and stay with Marci again in the future.
Liz was kind, conscientious and an excellent communicator. She was very considerate of both the kitty and me, and we are both very happy to have found her. She inspires confidence, and we recommend her wholeheartedly.
I met Liz in March of 2018 at my job as a Therapeutic Riding Instructor at an Equine Assisted Therapy Stable. As soon as I met her I could tell that her love for animals runs deep. My first clue was when Liz met one off our horses and immediately began talking to him, praising him and kindly petting him.. As soon as she met him she caringly treated him as if he was her own by brushing him, giving him treats, and leading him around to get exercise. And Liz interacted and cared for EVERY horse (and a donkey) exactly the same. I've been very close friends with her since. And no matter what animals I've seen her interact with - during her multiple Petsitting jobs, or caring for her own cat, or even meeting a random dog she passes on the street - Liz continues to make a positive and loving connection she makes with each pet she encounters.
Elizabeth is a kind, gentle, and compassionate soul! She is a bona fide dog lover, experienced and trusted in caring for others' animals (and children), reliable, and I would gladly hire her to take care of my boy Finn in a heartbeat (and I'm a current Rover customer!).

I like to know as much as possible prior to staying with any pet. Including food allergies, medications or ANY health issues, any fears or triggers specific to them; like thunder storms, loud noises, sirens, any aversions to types of animals or people.
A typical day
I enjoy playing, walking, hiking and training all breeds and sizes of dogs. They will receive a lot of love, affection and care as if they were my own pets.

I’m looking for a part time job, as well as continuing petsitting/ housesitting. I am flexible with my petsitting schedule, and love playing with dogs, hiking in the woods on trails, practicing good training for a well behaved dog
